Mobile Charging Trial 1: Longmont EDP

Trial Period: 5/7 - 5/21, 1925 Pike Rd Longmont CO

For our first extended trial we partnered with the Longmont Economic Development Partnership or EDP for short. Their HQ is tucked away in Southwest Longmont, but it has people of all kinds passing through who are all trying to make Longmont and Boulder County even better. They also have a coworking space called OneWest, which was the hook that got us interested for the trial. Coworking spaces have varied but relatively short dwell times, rarely have guests late at night, and are normally owned by another party. The goal is of course to get and retain members, so competitive amenities are a must. EV charging will soon be a necessary amenity, and this was a great opportunity to explore real world demand at their location. We had two users during the trial, who both enjoyed the charging amenity and said they would use the station in the future. Longmont has been good to us but we need to keep going further afield to really bring electrification everywhere, stay tuned for our next Mobile Charging Trial deployment!
